Summary: Reinstalled Canon camera, water level still going down, cut back willows along road

Joe and I arrived at 16:10 PDT. It was warm, sunny, and getting hazier. You could barely make out Mt. Diablo in the distance. This was a maintenance trip. On our way in we disturbed a group of goats that fled past our tower and disappeared down the levee road.

The inlet was off and the water level is still going down. If I squished down the mud in front of the staff gauge, the water pooled at about 7cm on the gauge.

Joe installed the Canon camera which has a new SD card with customized firmware. The current firmware does not turn the LCD screen off between shots, so itâ€™s possible the LCD screen may start to burn out. He tightened some of the bolts. I would like to install a Stardot or Raspberry Pi camera here to start a camera intercomparison.

I downloaded met and USB GHG data. The reservoir was mostly full, so I did not top it off. I cleaned flux and rad sensors. The incoming radiometers were dirty.

Joe cut back more willows along the road. He also retrieved an extra boardwalk from the solar scaffolding that we can use at Dutch Slough.
