I arrived at about 11:30. Siyan was here earlier in the morning. Many of the trees have turned brown. The trees here arenâ€™t as extensively brown as at Tonzi but still a big change for this early in the season. The water hole by the road was dry. There was a little recent rain from some thunderstorms but only enough to pockmark the dust and get the sensors dirty. Today was kind of hazy but I didnâ€™t smell any smoke in the air.

I swapped the 7500: sn 75H-2669 came off and sn 75H-2176 went on.
2669: 394.8ppm CO2, 663.2mmol/m3 H2O, 99.0kPa, 34.8C, 96.2SS â€“ before cleaning
2669: 417.9ppm CO2, 524.5mmol/m3 H2O, 99.0kPa, 35.0C, 101.8SS â€“ after cleaning

I collected the met, flux, Phenocam images and FD chamber clearing its memory. All seemed well.

I swapped the PAR sensors I had been inter-comparing. One of them was the Ameriflux standard that needed to be returned to the lab. Sn 161073 was removed from the incoming position and sn 140455 was removed from the reflected position. Sn 040412 was installed in the incoming position and sn 030381 was installed in the reflected position.

I went to the pond and collected the water level data. The pond level was 14.56ft. There were a couple of cows on the far side of the pond.

There was a four wheeler parked under a tree near the entrance that I didnâ€™t notice on my way in but it could easily have been there all along â€“ I didnâ€™t see anyone around.

I left at about 1pm
