Summary: Standard field work, getting crispy, checked soil co2 resistors, solar charge controllers

Siyan, Kyoko, Hisashi and I arrive at about 10:00. We are still social distancing in separate family cars. It was clear sunny and hot. The water hole still has some water but the grass and ground surface are crispy.

I collected the data from the eddy system and data loggers. All seemed well. Kyoko and Hisashi did the soil moisture and Siyan did the well and took clip plots.

I made a few spectra measurements with the Jaz. We did not go to the pond.

I spot checked the resistors used for the Vaisala CO2 probes â€“ looks like they are all 121 Ohm.

I also checked the solar charge controllers and they seem to match the equipment notes. The main controller is bolted to a back plane that will have to be removed to get its serial number.
