Summary: Regular data download/cleaning, adjusted eddy clock +10 min
| 2019-12-16 Sherman Wetland Joe and I arrived at 10:15 PST. It was a clear and cold day with blue skies. The wetland still looks pretty green. The water level was 80 cm. There were many wasps in the diffuse PAR 10X box, but we let them be for now. Joe added mothballs to Patty’s box (saw many ants and 1 wasp). I also cleared the otter poop from underneath the white lattice--we should think of a finer lattice or grate to place here instead. Joe downloaded met, camera, and miniDOT data. We may have forgotten to move the USB GHG data to the laptop, so it is probably on the USB stick at SB. The eddy clock was off; when the clock read 10:12, Joe set it to 10:22. I cleaned flux and rad sensors. There was lots of spider webs. The reservoir was ½ full; I refilled it. I swapped miniDOT and water level sensor desiccants. LI-7500 readings: CO2 416ppm H2O 351ppm T 10.7C P 102.9kPa SS 98--> 99 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.1 ppm RSSI 44--> 84 after cleaning We left at 10:35 PST. |
