Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, collected veg samples, wetland is starting to brown
| 2019-10-16 East End Alex and I arrived at 12:05. It was an overcast and mild day. Bruce and his crew are re-doing the Twitchell gravel road; they were working on smoothing a dirt layer. The water level was 13 cm, quite low. We should get in touch with Bryan about it. The wetland is starting to brown—about 80% of the plants had brown tips. Alex collected some veg samples from near the tower and cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. We also replaced the water level sensor and miniDOT desiccant. The wash reservoir was ½ full; we refilled it. LI-7500 readings: CO2 419ppm H2O 542ppm T 20.2C P 19.4kPa SS 94--> 98 LI7700 readings: CH4 2.04ppm RSSI 58--> 79 after cleaning We left at 12:25. |
