Summary: Took clip plots, LAI measurements, spectral measurements, downloaded data. Alfalfa was ~70cm, will likely be mowed soon.

We arrived at 13:35. Weather was sunny and clear, with haze still ringing the horizon. It was very hot, so we worked as fast as we could. The alfalfa fields north of us had all been mowed, but our field and the fields to our east and west had not been mowed.

Daphne downloaded data, while Ariane did the spectral measurements and cleaned sensors. Robert harvested clip plots (40x40), and worked with Daphne to measure LAI. The manual for the LAI instrument should be updated according to Daphne, but we got plausible readings compared to last time. Since the alfalfa was very high and likely to be mowed soon, we took the opportunity to clear the vegetation from under the tower. We refilled the wash reservoir, which was 1/3 empty.

We left at 14:22.
