Alex, Jiangong, and I arrived at 14:45. It was warm and breezy and growing cumulus clouds. The wetland is still dry; Bryan said he will start refilling it 2019-06-02 at the latest. If Steve has not harvested peat by then, Bryan will drain the wetland for 2 weeks later in the summer to allow Steve to harvest. The water level was 23 cm, a little higher than before. The wetland is 50-60% green.

Alex installed a Raspberry Pi camera facing up on a post next to the boardwalk. There are already some tules are already growing above the litter layer, but it will be interesting to see how the gap fraction changes throughout the summer.

Jiangong cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. I didnâ€™t collect the camera data because the SD card slot on the laptop was not working after a Windows 10 upgrade, but Alex restarted the camera because weâ€™ve had time issues in the past when the camera ran for much more than 2 weeks. I swapped miniDOT batteries. We swapped the desiccant for the miniDOT and for the water level pressure sensor. The wash reservoir was empty and we refilled it.

We left at 15:30.
