I arrived at about 11:37 with Robert. It was warm and mostly sunny with a nice breeze. Corn is coming up in fields to the west and north. They are actively plowing and planting fields to the south and west. Our field was plowed sometime between 12:30 when we left and around 15:30 when we returned to work on the PurpleAir. The upper boardwalk had slid to the east probably pushed by the wind, and this put tension on the PurpleAir power cable. We should pin the boardwalk to keep this from happening again.

Robert did most of the data collection.
The 7500 read: 412ppm CO2, 500umol/m3 H2O, 100.3kPa, 24.3C, 97.5SS - > 99.2 after cleaning.
The 7700 read: 1.98ppm CH4, 19.8RSSI -> 81 after cleaning

The wash reservoir was empty and we poured in half a gallon of DI – only had one jug to split between BA and BC. Things were dusty from recent tractor work.

We installed a new Arable Mark II sn C002445. I installed a new horizontal bar attached to the scaffolding corner post with the cross over fitting. This provides a more steady mount than the side railing that can shift on its pins. I put the Mark I sn A001359 that Loreli installed on 4-25 on the new bar as well as the Mark II. I’ll probably move our older Mark I to another site later – no need for three of them at the same site.

Initially I forgot the micro SD extender for the PurpleAir at BA so we stopped by again on our way out about 15:30 to collect the PurpleAir data and add the micro SD extender. It seemed to work okay. The extender is cable tied to the sensor body and the card is easy to access. It was hard to tell if it was recording properly though.
