We arrived at 13:30. It was partly cloudy with puffy clouds. When we entered the road south of West Pond, the soil is very soft, but luckily we had a 4x4. The pump was off. There was a new wire fence up on the dirt road next to the tower, so we parked on the gravel road, un-bolted the fence, and walked in. The wetland surface looks dry, and the water level was 18 cm, about 2 cm below the soil surface. The wetland is still brown, but there are some green plants poking through by the dirt road next to the tower.

I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. Robert cleaned the flux and rad sensors. The camera was not turning on/off properly, so we brought it back to the lab. Joe tested it in the lab and it seems ok now.

Camilo swapped the minidot desiccant and moved the minidot from a string to a yellow plastic chain. He added a single chain link that can be snapped open to adjust the height of the chain, but it could probably be swapped for a stainless steel carabiner. The wash reservoir was mostly empty; we refilled it.
