Summary: Regular data download/cleaning, serviced water sensors, swapped 7700 wash tubing
| 2018-11-01 Mayberry Dennis, Kuno, and I arrived at 15:50. It was calm and sunny, with thin clouds. The wetland is definitely browning now. The water level is 30 cm. Kuno replaced the original 7700 tubing with a black tubing that should is more resistant to solar degradation. The original tubing had a leak. Kuno and Dennis cleaned the flux and rad sensors and refilled the wash reservoir; it was almost empty. I forgot to bring sample vials so we didn't collect water samples for Isabel. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. The lower miniDOT needs a new desiccant (dropped in the water) and maybe new batteries (didn’t see green LED on when I pushed the white eject button or when I turned the miniDOT back on). LI-7500 readings: CO2 405ppm H2O 630ppm T 26.5C P 101.7kPa SS 98-->100.6 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.1ppm RSSI 1 --> 86 after cleaning We left at 16:30. |
