Dennis, Kuno, and I arrived around 10:15. It was sunny and a pleasant day with good visibility. Thin clouds covered half the sky, and there were many geese in the air. The field has been recently mowed and the bales already removed. Kuno trimmed the alfalfa under the tower and cleaned the solar panels.

I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and FD data. After confirming the FD data was downloaded correctly, I deleted the FD data and did not restart (Eosense said it was no longer necessary, despite the software prompt to restart).
Kuno cleaned the flux and rad sensors, topped off the wash reservoir, and measured veg heights. I started taking spectral measurements but decided it was too cloudy.

We cleaned and tested the tipping bucket sn 65560-615. We connected the bucket to a CR23x and dribbled 475ml of water through it. This should result in 100 tips. Last week, we got 90 tips and adjusted the set screws in the bottom by one full turn clockwise (+2-3%). This week, we got only 91 tips. Kuno adjusted the bucket by 2 full turns. It needs to be re-tested next time, because I was expecting more than 91 tips today.
