Summary: Standard fieldwork, camera images not collected due to forgotten card reader, blackberries - yum.
| West Pond 2018-08-23 I arrived at 12:45 with Daphne and Kuno. It was sunny and mild with a cool breeze and very poor visibility due to haze. The water level was 49cm and the inlet was running. Some blackberries were ripe. Some of the tules are as tall as the radiation boom. Daphne cut back some of the willow. Kuno collected the data The 7500 read: 379ppm CO2, 681mmol/m3 H2O, 22.7C, 101.8kPa, 98SS The 7700 read: 1.9ppm CH4, 12RSSI – 73 after cleaning The wash reservoir was empty due to a spider wed in the path. We refilled the reservoir and evicted the spider from the 7700 hat. We forgot the card reader for the camera so could not collect the images. But, the camera was running and I heard it take a photo. We left at 13:40 |
