Summary: Very hazy, Standard fieldwork, fixed phenocam overlay, troubleshot Picarro system
Sherman Barn 2018-08-23 I arrived at 13:30 with Daphne and Kuno. It was sunny and mild with a cool breeze and very poor visibility due to haze – the Antioch Bridge was barely visible. The field is mostly brown but the grass inside the corral panels near the auto-chambers was tall and green. Cows were in the field to the northeast. I collected the data and Daphne cleaned the radiometers and flux sensors. The 7500 read: 390.0ppm CO2, 649.7mmol/m3 H2O, 23.6C, 101.7kPa, 98.2SS The 7700 read: 1.92ppm CH4, 33.7RSSI – 68.0 after cleaning. I fixed the overlay name on the Phenocam. The name is set in a file called “current_overlay.conf†on the camera. Daphne did spectral measurements – files #35-45 with one reference and one dark at the beginning. Files <35 did not have the tube connected consistently. Kuno checked on the Picarro and clipped around the chambers. There was problems restarting the Picarro system so we left Kuno there to troubleshoot with Tyler on the phone and picked him up later. Daphne and I left at 14:45 |
