We arrived at 11:40. It was breezy, cool, and sunny.

Kyle cleaned the flux and rad sensors. I collected met and USB data. I also collected data from the new miniDOT sensor which we connect to directly via a miniUSB-USB cable. I turned the switch to "Halt" before downloading the data and turned it back to "Record" before deploying it again. I'm not sure if switching to "Halt" is necessary; we should look up the correct protocol.

SWin had obvious spikes and SHF plates have had strange step-changes since installation. I re-wired SWin to port 14 and SHF to ports 15, 16, 17 and uploaded a new CR1000 program to reflect the new wiring.

I assume we refilled the wash reservoir.

Alex measured water level heights in the well.
Water level at staff gauge: 69 cm above water-muck interface.
Well depth: 1.26 m (bottom of well to water level)
The sensor at the bottom of the well is 57 cm (i.e. 126 - 69 cm) below the water-muck interface.
(Note by Daphne 2020-10-09 - I think this measurement is assuming the sensor is at the bottom of the well.)

LI-7500 readings:
CO2 400ppm
H2O 550ppm
T 17.6C
P 102.6kPa
SS 98 --> 99 after cleaning

LI7700 readings:
CH4 1.94ppm
RSSI 47 --> 68 after cleaning

As I was re-wiring sensors, Alex, Dennis, and Kyle left to find the pond outlet boards, but they didnâ€™t see anything on the northern edge of the pond; Alex left Bryan a voicemail. She closed the EP inlet pump (SW corner of pond) a Â¼ turn around 12:15 to try to lower the water level a little bit.

We left at 12:15.
