Mayberry: 2017-06-05 15:00:00 (DOY 156)

Summary: Data collection, serviced water sensors, added NDVI sensors, removed redundant NR-Lite.
Mayberry 2017-06-05 I arrived with Daphne at about 15:00. It was warm and hazy with a light breeze. The water level is about the same and the water is still very brown. The water in Mayberry slough seemed low, but might just be low tide. Lots of spider webs on the eddy sensors. The 7500 read: Before cleaning: 404.7ppm CO2, 544.1mmol/m3 H2O, 30.0C, 100.9kPa, 91.9SS After cleaning: 414.3ppm CO2, 410.2mmol/m3 H2O, 30.0C, 100.9kPa, 96.3SS The 7700 read: 1.94ppm CO2, 41.0RSSI – 76.3 after cleaning We collected data from the minidots. The bottom level is still folded up due to the low water levels. It was not too much trouble to pull up the boom with the float on the end, but we still have to get in the water to make sure the bubbles get out of the fluorometer. The sensor surfaces in the fluorometer looked clean. We removed the K&Z Rnet-Lite sn 041556 that was over the tules and was made redundant by the 4-way net radiometer. The cable of the Rnet-Lite was labeled “water†though. We installed two SRS NDVI hemispherical sensors. Both needed their cables extended to reach the data logger. We installed sn 2046503376 in the incoming position and sn 2046503354 in the outgoing position. The met program was updated after collecting the data. |
