Summary: Regular data collection, one of the "water" TC rods mowed down
| Arrived at 9:10. It was sunny with a light breeze and a few fluffy clouds. There was a hawk sitting on our camera when we first got to the site. There was lots of bird goop everywhere, mouse entrails etc. pretty gross. Hopefully this will get washed away with some rain and will get better once the wetland is flooded and not as much of a hunting ground for small rodents anymore… Refilled wash reservoir, was half empty. There were lots of wasps in the reservoir box. Cleaned GHG sensors. LI7700 RSSI was really low when we got there but went back up after cleaning. Probably caused by the recent rains. Changed CF card, “SW†out, “SW†in. Collected USB GHG data, collected met data from CR1000. One of the TC rods for above ground (water) sensors was mowed down. Probably set “A†but not entirely clear. Top 2 TC sensors are affected (Maybe TC9 and TC10 in code). They are still working but were torn from the rod. Need new rod and retape everything. Added bolt do secure solar scaffolding. LI7500 readings: CO2 403.81 umol/mol H2O 644.0 mmol/m3 T 16.20 Celsius P 100.24 kPa SS 97.4 -> 101.24 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4: 2.34 RSSI: 4.0 -> 72 after cleaning Left at 9:40 |
