Sherman Wetland: 2016-09-29 09:30:00 (DOY 273)
Author: Joe Verfaillie
Others: Dennis, Kyle, Sam
Summary: Swapped 7500, swapped HMP fan, moved sonic to 24V, new desiccant for well pressure, lots of wasps.
Sherman Wetland 2016-09-29 I arrived about 9:30 with Dennis, Kyle and Sam. It was breezy, cool and sunny. We drove along the east side of the levee up to the beginning of the boardwalk. There is a bit of soft soil at the beginning and nowhere to turn around so you have to back out, but it is worth it if you have to carry much. Last week, I tied open the battery box door because it was full of wasps and spiders. Now it looks like they have all left. I closed and locked the door. At the tower we swapped the 7500 sn 75H-2668 off: 397.0ppm CO2, 670.0mmol/m3 H2O, 17.9C, 101.7kPa, 99.6SS sn 1594 on: 413.0ppm CO2, 619.6mmol/m3 H2O, 18.7C, 100.0kPa, 99.3SS I forgot to reset the pressure coefficients, and the offsets seem a little larger than normal. The 7700 read: 1.98ppm CH4, 43.5RSSI – 83.1 after cleaning. LOTS of wasps in the wash reservoir box – BE CAREFUL. We swapped the HMP60 radiation shield. The new one has a 24V fan in it and the power wire was moved to the 24V bus. The sonic was also moved to the 24V bus. The well pressure desiccant was swapped. Sam cleaned the solar panels. They mowed along the inside of the levees and they had to go around our tower and the boardwalk. On 9/26 there two passes around the tower caught on the camera. |
