I arrived about 10:45 with Dennis and Siyan. It was clear sunny and warm with a nice breeze. The grass is dead and a lot less flowers this time. The pond is receding â€“ maybe slightly more than half full.

I added four batteries to the Floor battery bank sn BB-TF. One of the four existing batteries exploded. I disconnected all four and tested the other three with the load tester. They tested good. Then I added four batteries that were at East End last. These all tested good after sitting in the lab for a while. All of the batteries have tags from January and February 2012.

I checked on the automatic sftp. I had commented out the code to send the data. I fixed this. I also added a second line to sftp.bat to try sending a second time. I added the co2 profile data to the auto send as well.

I added the two Eosense CO2 probes to the co2 profile system. The CR6 sn 2115 is in the box with the CR10X for the z-cams. One probe sn GP20150084 is next to the lowest inlet and the other sn GP20160003 is next to the second lowest inlet.

I calibrated the co2 profile system. Initially I could not connect to the CR10x or the LI-820 sn CGA-556. I removed a surge protector from the CR10X line and wiggled LI-820 connectors to fix both problems.

We also wandered around and found a few more trees with bands to measure.

Siyan collected data and did the standard field work. Dennis did the Moisture Point readings.
