Summary: Moved FD system, normal data collection, soil respiration and spectral measurements
| Arrived at 2pm. The sky was finally clear so Sara took spectral and did veg height. She also moved the forced diffusion system about 20cm west — we were worried about covering the same spot of soil for too long of a period. Joe discovered the profile B 8cm probe was disconnected at the box inside the enclosure — he reconnected it and the data started looking OK again. I think this got disconnected during the sheep invasion on 2014/12/10. I took 6400 measurements — all values were around 2.6-3.2umol m-2 s-1. I need to bring labels next time for the soil collars — the sharpie labels keep fading. I noticed the profile B 2cm thermocouple was out of the soil — I reinstalled it. Joe downloaded data and noticed that the rodents are continuing to chew wires - TC 7 was reading Inf and other wires look roughed up. Joe replaced the HMP45 fan. The 7500 read: 584ppm CO2, 1367mmol/m3 H2O, 23.1SS, 16.86C, 101.8kPa After cleaning water drops of the: 421.2ppm CO2, 481mmol/m3 H2O, 90.2SS. |
