Summary: Tons of spider webs. Data download. Regular fieldwork.
| Sherman 2014-10-02 We arrived around 14:05 PDT. It was hot and sunny with a light breeze. There were tons of spider webs everywhere. I could see spider webs spiraling about 100 m in the air glinting in the sun. I removed three big wind spiders jumping off the 7500, sonic, and LGR inlet. There were also tons of wasps about. Sara did spectral and veg height while I checked the tower and downloaded data. Did not download camera data due to the wasp activity. I forgot to switch over to check the LGR readings, but from what I remember from Loggernet the CH4 concentration was about 2 ppm and the pressure about 143 Torr. 7500 readings: CO2: 15.9 mmol m-3 (16.1 after cleaning) H2O: 380 mmol m-3 (440 after cleaning) P = 101.8 kPa T = 32 C Diag: 248 Sos: 348.0 m s-1 Met looked good. |
