Summary: Lots of mosquitos, 7550 quit on head swap - flux down until next Monday.

WestPond
2014-09-04

I arrived about 3pm. Water levels were normal and the inlet was running. There was a swarm of mosquitos at the bottom of the tower where it is protected from the wind. Beware of West Nile.

Patty took water samples at the inlet, outlet and tower.

The 7700 read: 1.95ppm, 53.1 RSSI – the 7700 was cleaned but I failed to note the new value, but this is moot – see below.
The 7500 read: 389ppm CO2, 667mmol/m3 H2O, 82.1SS, 100.23kPa, 30.50C

We were going to swap the 7500 head, but when the new head was installed, the 7550 box became unresponsive. We cycled power with one or the other head attached several time with no luck. The box seemed to be caught in a cycle of rebooting. This is the one box that has not been upgraded to prevent the condensation problem on the connector pins at the bottom of the box. Since it was not working, we pulled the box to swap with the spare in the lab next Monday.

7550 sn AIU-0614 and head sn 0065 came off.
