Summary: Alfalfa flowering. Regular fieldwork. Need to bring battery now for soil respiration measurements. Forgot to download soil CO2 data. Wasp control.

We arrived about 12:45 PDT. It was warm and sunny with a nice breeze. The alfalfa is starting to flower. I attended to the tower and downloaded data while Sara did spectral, and veg height. We couldnâ€™t do soil respiration because we forgot a DC battery for the 6400. I also forgot to download the soil CO2 data.

Joe downloaded the soil co2 data on Friday the 21st.

7500 readings:
CO2 = 376 ppm (same after cleaning)
H2O = 750 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
signal strength = 94.24% (95.15% after cleaning)
p = 100.9 kPa
t = 25.7 C
sos = 349.0 m s-1

Met ok.
Rad ok.
Cleaned rad.

Got rid of big wasp nest under the boardwalk.
