Summary: Removed tower from the field for planting, Should replace solar charger, camera left off after power outage for tower move.

I arrived about 1pm PDT with Patty. It was clear, hot and sunny with a little breeze. No change to the field. We met Jim on the way out and he said they hoped to have rice planted by next Thursday.

We removed the tower from the field. All the ground sensors were pulled and tied up on the tower. The board walks were all pulled and stacked near the solar panels. Patty and I carried the tower to a location south of the box. We leveled the tower in relation to the sonic, but need to measure the new heading next time out. The tipping bucket was pulled, but not reinstalled â€“ no rain expected. It could be installed again next time.

The solar charger at the site is old and kind of cranky. Pushing the button turned off the power so that was could move the tower, but would not turn the power back on. I disconnected the battery bank and let it rest a bit. A couple tries got the power back on.

I forgot to reset the camera after the power was turned off. We will miss photos of the field work unless someone goes out to and resets it.

After the tower was moved:
The 7500 read: 406ppm CO2, 624mmol/m3 H2O, 101.3kPa, 81SS
The 7700 read: 1.96ppm CH4, 48 RSSI â€“ after cleaning 72 RSSI

Air pressure looked okay.
