Summary: Field drained. TC Soil T1_04 bad. Pulled DO probe.
| Twitchell Rice 2014-04-03 We arrived about 12:00 PDT. It was somewhat overcast, cool with a light breeze. The field is drained and covered with a very short layer of old rice plant material except for the area ~10 meters to the WNW of the tower which has a large patch of tules growing in it. We checked the readings and Patty pulled the DO sensor. We decided to keep the water pressure sensor since we thought water table depth measurements might be useful. 7500 readings: CO2 = 399 ppm (same after cleaning) H2O = 490 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning) signal strength = 81.4% (81.6% after cleaning) 7700 readings: CH4 = 1.99 ppm variable (same after cleaning) RSSI = 48% (69% after cleaning) Reservoir was full. Met looked good except for Soil T1_04 which was reading -27 C. |
