Summary: Updated 7500A/7550 firmware. Updated 7700 firmware and calibrated. Made posts for boardwalk. Replaced car battery powering camera.
| Mayberry 2014-03-07 We arrived around 14:15 PST. It was sunny, windy, and warm. Sara and I updated the 7500A/7550 (downloaded GHG first) & 7700 firmware, and calibrated the 7700 (sn TG1-0224). Joe cut spikes into the end of the posts we brought out last week and pounded a couple into the area where the boardwalk will go. 7500 readings: CO2: 399 ppm (401 after cleaning) H2O: 487 mmol m-3 (463 after cleaning) signal strength = 91.1% (94.1% after cleaning) t: 24.6 °C p = 102.0 kPa sos = 345 m s-1 Current 7700 readings: CH4 = 1.95 ppm (same after cleaning and calibration) RSSI = 50% (90% after cleaning) Reservoir was 5/6 full. Topped off. The camera was off when we arrived and the leads to the car battery were pretty corroded. We swapped out the battery with one Joe had brought to power the saw. |
