Summary: Alfalfa growing. Updated 7500A/7550 firmware. Low readings on SHF3 to check out. Rad 10x needed restart.

We arrived about 10:35 PST It was partly cloudy, windy, and cool. The alfalfa is growing anew, you couldnâ€™t even tell the sheep had been here last week. We checked the readings and updated the 7500A/7550 firmware (downloaded GHG data first).

7500 readings:
CO2 = 393 ppm (400 after cleaning)
H2O = 440 mmol m-3 (409 after cleaning)
SS = 77.9% (78.4% after cleaning)
sos = 346 m s-1

MET looked good except for some low readings from SHF3. Check data. Ants have taken an interest in the solar controller in the Met box. Itâ€™s not too bad yet.

The radiation 10x had to be restarted by cycling battery power at the solar controller. This happened last week so we should keep an eye on whether this is resulting in data loss. Cleaned radiation sensors.
