Summary: Standard field work, reinstalled computer with new power supply, clipped litter around soil CO2 area.

I arrived about 8:30 with Patty. It was mostly sunny with a patch of high thin clouds to the south. The wind was a breeze when we arrived but increased quickly to about 5m/s from the northwest swinging to the north. The Bermuda grass and pepper weed is dead but the annuals are sprouting and give the ground a green hue in places.

The LGR read 9:00, 23.31C, 85.26Torr, 12.54usec, 10Hz, 1.932ppm
I checked the external 2um filter and it was okay. I adjusted the bypass valve to bring pressure up to 143.4Torr. Probably should swap out the LGR next chance.

The 7550 read 17.02mmol/m3 CO2, 275mmol/m3 H2O, 12.3C, 101.13kPa, 247diag

I reinstalled the computer. Seems the external power supply died, I replaced it with one from the lab. The data logger clocks were okay, the met data was okay.

The HMP45 fan was okay.

I did spectral measurements, but the sun light was somewhat variable due to the high thin clouds.

I collected data, the camera was off with only 110 images. Patty did the soil respiration and cleared all the standing litter from around the soil respiration area. I measured the wells from the top on the pipes: North 132cm, South old 92cm, South new with sensor 90cm.

I did the Moisture Points:
East reading 1: 42.8, 44.2, 63.1, 11.1
East reading 2: 39.9, 44.2, 62.5, 11.1
North reading 1: 49.9, 46.0, 48.0, 94.7
North reading 2: 47.2, 44.5, 48.0, 83.8

The lock on the box could use some WD40. We should protect the spare AC outlets from potential rain.
