Summary: Regular site visit. All good.
| West Pond 2013-09-11 We arrived around 13:00 PDT. It was partly cloudy and warm, with a nice breeze. The water level under the tower was high and the inlet was at a trickle. There were a few senescent cattails and tules among the mostly green canopy. Dennis and I downloaded data and attended to the tower while Sara and Eva grabbed water samples. 7500 readings: CO2 = 384 ppm (396 after cleaning) H2O = 740 mmol m-3 (700 after cleaning) signal strength = 82.9% (84.2% after cleaning) t = 24 C p = 101.3 kPa sos = 348.1 m s-1 7700 readings: CH4 = 1.87 ppm (same after cleaning) RSSI = 42 (80 after cleaning) Reservoir was 5/6 full. MET looked good. Cleaned radiation sensors. |
