Summary: Drive the long way around, new card did not format reused old card, washed solar panels
| DWR-Corn (construction) 2013-07-10 I arrived about 14:30 with Laurie, Yanel and Cristina. It was clear and hot with a strong breeze from the north northwest. The construction is progressing with many berms visible but still cut by ditches. We tried to approach the site from the north past the alfalfa fields but there is no longer a path that way. We drive down along the levee to the south to get there. The LI7500 read: 15.63mmol/m3 CO2, 435mmol/m3 H2O, 100.97kPa, 34.62C, 249 Diag. Laurie cleaned the sensor. The CR1000 card did not format. I waited about 15min. In the mean time I dumped the data from the old card and then punched the new card and put the old one back in. The old one formatted in about 2 minutes. Cristina and Yanel cleaned the solar panels, but they didnt look all that bad. A large patch of grass almost head tall has sprung up on the north side of the tower. I took a photo of the eddy instruments that could be used to get sensor separations. |
