791 2012-09-27 Mayberry DO Sensor A Removed Lab none DO-02 was removed from the upper water location at the Tule tower because it ws reading -INF. Inspection in the lab showed that the inner metal coil had corroded to the point of developing a gap in one of the loops.
790 2011-10-20 Lab none Installed Mayberry DO Sensor A DO-02 was installed near the water surface in the open water location. This sensor was moved from the Twitchell Rice while the field is drained.
805 2011-10-19 Lab none Calibration Lab none DO-02 was calibrated in the lab: M = 8.73/36.8 (mg/L)/mV (aka ppm/mV) @ temp = 21.5 C and press.= 100.2 Kpa
789 2011-09-22 Twitchell Rice DO Sensor Removed Lab none DO-02 was removed from the Twitchell Rice because the field has been drained an the probe was high and dry.
391 2011-08-04 Lab none Installed Twitchell Rice DO Sensor Reinstalled after splicing the cable to repair cut from weed clearing.
392 2011-07-28 Twitchell Rice DO Sensor Removed Lab none Removed from the field after the cable was cut during the clearing of weeds.
396 2011-06-02 Twitchell Rice DO Sensor Maintenance Twitchell Rice DO Sensor Jaclyn replaced the electrolyte and cleaned the sensor before putting it back in the field now that the field is flooded.
788 2011-05-13 Lab none Installed Twitchell Rice DO Sensor DO-02 was installed in the Twitchell Rice.
787 2011-03-22 Twitchell Rice DO Sensor Removed Lab none DO-02 was removed from the Twitchell Rice because the field has been drained an the probe was high and dry.
397 2011-01-28 Lab none Installed Twitchell Rice DO Sensor First installation of this sensor in the field.
277 2011-01-24 Lab none Calibration Lab none On January 24, 2011, Jaclyn Hatala calibrated 2 CS511 Sensorex dissolved oxygen sensors in the lab.

1. I filled the caps with water, to make sure that the membrane was secure and not leaking.

2. I emptied the caps and filled them with the electrolyte solution provided.

3. I attached the two sensors to a datalogger with a multiplier of 1.0, and recorded data every 10 seconds
for 15 minutes with the sensors out of water

4. I calculated the multiplier by the equation: M=P/R provided in the manual, where P is the given atmospheric
O2 concentration given the room temperature and pressure (in this case for 24C and sea level, 8.09ppm)

5. The sensor was labeled DO_2: coef 0.2394ppm/mV. The datalogger output and
calculations are in DOcal_24Jan2011.xlsx.
