864 | 2012-10-25 | Lab none | Disposed | Lab none | After talking to Campbell, it was decided that this water pressure sensor is unrepairable. It will have to be replaced by a new model. |
863 | 2012-10-18 | Mayberry Water Level | Removed | Lab none | This sensor was removed from the Tule Tower due to bad readings and brought back to the lab for a check up. |
862 | 2012-01-17 | Lab none | Installed | Mayberry Water Level | Installed on the Mayberry Tule tower. |
495 | 2012-01-04 | Lab none | Tested | Lab none | I tested the pressure sensor in the lab by lowering in ito a vertical column of ABS pipe filled with water. The sensor was lowered into the water at depths marked on the sensor's cable, then removed from the water at the same depths: 0, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 100, 75, 50, 25, and 0cm
The first test gave slightly higher readings than the second, but the third was between the first two, so I think all's well. depth in meters = 1.4504 * mV - 0.1881 R2 = 0.9952 |
494 | 2011-12-20 | Mayberry Water Level | Removed | Lab none | Removed from near the Mayberry tower due to low readings. The sensor head was silted up in the well. |
241 | 2010-10-27 | Lab none | Installed | Mayberry Water Level | This sensor was installed at the Mayberry site. It was installed 1.25m below the top of the plastic pipe and the top of the pipe is 71.5cm above the surface. |
258 | 2010-10-20 | Lab none | Calibration | Lab none | This water pressure sensor was calibrated in the lab by lowering it into a ABS pipe filled with water. The probe was lowered in 0.25m intervals as marked on the cable and output mV/V values were recorded. The factory calibration is 0.98 (mV/V)/psi and the conversion to depth is 2.307ft/psi. with a little unit conversion to final relationship is:
Depth (m) = Output (mV/V)*0.7472 - 0.0094 |
237 | 2010-10-14 | Sherman Island | Removed | Lab none | This sensor was removed from the Sherman Tower for lab calibration before being deployed at the new Mayberry site. |
1754 | 2007-03-27 | Lab none | Installed | Sherman Island | Installed by Ted at the Sherman cow pasture site |
