I arrived about 11:00PDT with Siyan and her Chinese visitors. We saw Mr. Tonzi on the way in waiting for a ride into Jackson with his neighbor. It was mostly sunny and warm with a light breeze from the west. The trees look close to fully leafed out. The road is dry.

I checked the soil co2 data loggers. The data seems to be transferred to the 23x correctly so there is no need to download from the 10x directly. However the data is still being saved inside the 10x. I fixed the Loggernet soil co2 display on floor computer to show the columns from the cr10x.

I need to try and copy data from the soil CO2 CR10X for days 4-19 (110) to 4-23 (112).

Tram was running.

I took leaf angle photos from the tower. It took about 1.5 hours to do the full set. I took about every other photo being selective for leafy shots. There didn’t seemed to be many fresh green leaves – mostly mature looking leaves.

I serviced the zcams and checked their times. The cr200 that drives camera three was off a bit (read 12:38:34 at 12:32:00). I reset it. The other data logger was less than a minute off. I took photos with the zcams at specific times according to my cell phone:

On the co2 profile system on the tower, solenoid D is still sticky.

I brought back the batteries that Jessica used for the Licor LI-8100 soil chamber system.

Laurie was at the site taking soil cores.

There is only 1.5GB left on the Tower D: drive. It has archived data back to 2007 that can be moved off.

I calibrated the CO2 profile system. The N2 tank has 1750psi and the CO2 tank has 1200psi. I turned down the flow on the CO2 tank because it was gushing out.

Some of the insulating mounts for the electrified wire around the main tower need replacing.
