Summary: LGR trailer pulled out day before, intalled reference set of soil TCs with soil CO2 system - new program

2012-04-03 I arrived about 10:30 with Jaclyn and Sara. It was mild, windy and sunny. The Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers look high and muddy. The ditch along the road was full and very brown. The field is green, but the pepper weed is still being held in check by the cows. Inside the cow fence I think the pepper weed has grown 10cm in the last five days. The ground is damp but firm. LGR pulled their trailer out on Monday. The left things in good condition. Sara installed a set of three soil Thermocouples near the soil CO2 probes. These were added to the AM416 multiplexor. I changed the program to add the three new channels on the end. The LI7700 RSSI was about 20. After cleaning it was about 79 – mostly dirty top mirror. No need to add water to the wash reservoir. The radiation sensors were clean and the tipping bucket was clear. |
