Summary: Swapped LGR, brought in SHF plates, tipping bucket for repair.
| Twitchell 2011-10-27 I arrived about 8:15PST. It was cool and sunny with little to no wind. There was heavy dew on the grass. Field 1 has been harvested, but the test fields to the south have not. The straw has not been chopped yet, probably done by next week. I saw some cranes fly over. When I arrived the LGR read: 8:13PST, 27.17C, 111.23Torr, 14.381usec, 10Hz, 2.489ppm In slow flow mode there was zero flow. I checked the 2um filters. The interior filter seemed cleaner than the exterior one neither one was very plugged up. There was a little bit on condensation in the tube in a spot not covered by the insulation. I swapped out the LGR. When I installed the other LGR, I used the interior filter from the one I removed as the exterior filter. All went well. Before I left the LGR read: 9:36PST, 20.92C, 148.05Torr, 14.754usec, 10Hz, 2.201ppm I checked the wire for the tipping bucket and found it broken or cut at the base of the stake holding the bucket. I brought it in for repair. I checked the wires on the SHF plates and found three of the four to be rotting away. I removed sn 00243, sn 00244 and sn 00246 from AM25T channels 17, 16 and 18 respectively. I cut three plots of rice straw for biomass. I dug the roots out of one of the plots and brought those too. I met some people from the Fresno Historical Society looking for someone to talk to some teachers about the history of water in the delta. |
