Summary: Tested CNR1, tipping bucket funnel off - replaced.

Sherman
2011-10-27

I arrived about 9:30PST. It was warm and sunny with little to no wind. The field looks very brown. The pepperweed it dying except for a few small leaves near the base. The hell weed it dying. The field looked very wet with water in the ditches and standing water to the west and in the north third.

I checked the CNR1. I turned the CNR1 180 degrees so that the upward sensors were point down and the downward sensors were pointing up. After a few minutes I turned it back. The measured values swapped just like I expected. So I don?t think there is anything wrong with it.

The funnel had been knocked off the tipping bucket. I taped it back in place.

The HMP45 fan has died.
