Summary: Swapped LI7500, DO sensor added to Tule tower, failed again trying to connect to LI7700, showers.

I arrived about 11am with Jaclyn. It was overcast with scattered showers. A breeze began to blow from the east making it feel cool. I think driving to the site the wind mills showed the wind was from the west. The water is still at the lower level and there are lots of tules coming up here and there. The weeds on the levees have grown like weeds in the last week. They are a lot thicker and higher with flowers.

I collected data from the CR1000 and CR23x. The LI7700’s RSSI was about 6 when I arrived and the wash reservoir was empty. I filled the reservoir and cleaned the LI7700 mirror getting the RSSI back up to about 90.

I tried to connect to the LI7700 with the Ethernet cable again with no luck. I think I will have to bring out the interface box to give that a try.

We swapped the LI7500. Serial number 0065 went on and serial number 0042 came off.

Jaclyn copied data from the Tule tower and added DO sensor DO-1 after its cable was repaired and electrolyte changed in the lab. Jaclyn also cleaned the radiometers on the Tule tower.

We met Bryan Brock on the way out. He was checking conductivity and said that they will be spraying for pepper weed.
