Summary: Field remains flooded, moved soil sensors into flooded field

Joe, Kuno, and I arrived at 15:05 PST. It was cool and sunny with no breeze. The field is flooded and we can hear the water draining out of the southeast corner of the field. Kuno removed the soil sensors from under the tower and Joe reinstalled them in the flooded field. The Campbell VWC sensors were reinstalled at -10cm depth, the SHF plates at their usual -2cm depth, and the thermocouple rods at their usual depths. One of the thermocouples came loose but Joe was able to fix it without new electrical tape. We did not move the Theta probe—we will probably remove it soon.

I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and PA data. Kuno cleaned flux and rad sensors. We topped off the wash reservoir. VWC_8 read NAN when we arrived. I power cycled all of the Campbell VWC sensors. I unwired the PRI sensors but they are still on the boom. They were already removed from the datalogger program.

7500 read: 427ppm CO2, 298mmol/m3 H2O, 18.1C, 102.3kPa, 98SS—99 after cleaning
7700 read: 2.2ppm CH4, 52RSSI – 80 after cleaning

We left at 15:35 PST.
