Summary: Swapped HMP45, Swapped LGR, Removed air conditioning, Installed fans, Mouse dead?, generator quit.

1/18/2011 I arrived about 12:30 with Jaclyn. It was clear, sunny and warm with almost no wind. The ground was wet but the road along the field was passable. There was a kind of wet, moldy smell at the site. The water was scummy. The generator was running. Jaclyn swapped out the HMP45. The one swapped in seems okay. I swapped the LGR. I replaced the tubing from the LGR to the external filter – no change in length. The new LGR powered up but the mouse did not work. Frank showed up to borrow the cal gas and I borrowed a mouse from him. I set the LGR to high flow, but when the external pump kicked on the generator loaded down and quit. Since the LGR did not shutdown properly with the new setting, I doubt it will come up in high flow or with the correct serial settings when the generator is restarted. The air conditioning unit doesn’t seem to work so we pulled in and put in the fans. There was a huge bunch of wasps and lady bugs hibernating under the air conditioner. I downloaded all the data from the CR23X and swapped the card on the CR1000. |
