Summary: Warm day, storm prep, pastures and levee roads greening up

Robert and I arrived at 13:25 PST after a short stop for one-way traffic control over Threemile Slough Bridge. Today the weather was unseasonably warm, the calm before a storm coming in tomorrow and another one Sunday into Monday. Forecasted winds for both events will be >10m/s (20+ mph). Driving in, we noticed that the pastures and the interior levee roads were looking nice and green.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I downloaded the miniDOT data and swapped its desiccant. Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors and refilled the wash reservoir from ½ full. He also checked the precip bucket, which was clean except for a little cattail fluff stuck in the funnel. The reservoir was ½ full; he refilled it. The staff gauge read 66cm.

The 7500 read: 477ppm CO2, 644mmol/m3 H2O, 21.1C, 101.3kPa, 94SS – forgot to write after cleaning
The 7700 read: 2.7ppm CH4, 82 RSSI after cleaning

Robert measured the surface water conductivity with the handheld YSI probe.

For storm prep, we moved the upper boardwalk down to a lower rung on the scaffolding. We had to remove three cable ties that were attaching the boardwalk hooks to the scaffolding.

We left around 13:40 PST.
