Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, sheep have trimmed plants around solar panels

Robert and I arrived at 12:25 PDT. It was a sunny, breezy, and mostly clear day. The fennel and wild artichoke are in full bloom. The blackberries are starting to ripen. The breeze kept most of the mosquitoes at bay. The sheep fence posts were up in the same place just past the clearing off of the levee, but the netting was all on the ground to the side—maybe the farmer is getting ready to pull up the fence. We removed the posts and drove through to the tower, passing just a few sheep on the way.

At the tower, the sheep have consumed all of the vegetation around the solar panels. The solar panel wires all looked ok. I trimmed back one green thistle plant that the sheep had avoided.

The staff gauge read 19cm. The water level has been going down, and I can almost see the ground underneath the tower.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. There was a 7550 error when trying to eject the USB (LED slow blink). The data files seemed fine. I reset the 7550 and put in a fresh USB stick. All seemed ok. Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors. The reservoir was about 90% full; I topped it off. There were some ants and eggs in the met box so I put in a mothball.

The solar panels were dusty again so Robert cleaned them. Much easier to clean with all of the surrounding vegetation gone.

The 7500 read: 409ppm CO2, 754 mmol/m3 H2O, 24.8C, 100.7kPa, 101SS --102 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 1.95ppm CH4, 61RSSI –71 after cleaning

We left at 12:45 PDT. We put the sheep fence posts back up on our way out.
