Kyle and I arrived at 12:25 PDT. It was sunny but windy and cool. The field looks similar to last week, smoothed but no furrows. I'm not sure if they've planted. The weeds in the field are all dead, so maybe they've applied herbicide.

I downloaded the usual met, cam, USB GHG, FD, PA, and IRT data. Kyle cleaned flux and rad sensors and topped off the wash reservoir.

After downloading data, I removed the FD chamber sn FD20180026 to move to Bouldin Alfalfa. Charlotte in Whendee's lab is measuring soil CO2 flux with her chambers, so we can probably get that data from them. Bouldin Alfalfa's FD chamber stopped working a while back and there are no redundant measurements there, so we are moving this FD chamber to Bouldin Alfalfa. I left the FD cable tied up on the tower and disconnected its power.

I changed the phenocam clock +1min from 11:41:40 to 11:42:40 to match the laptop time. The eddy clock was ok. I changed the water level sensor desiccant.

The 7500 read: 404ppm CO2, 515mmol/m3 H2O, 19.7C, 101.6kPa, 100SS
The 7700 read: 1.97ppm CH4, 54RSSI—79 after cleaning

We left at 12:50 PDT and drove the back way to Bouldin Alfalfa. Some of the corn fields we passed have clearly been planted.

Looking at the data back in the lab, the camera card was corrupted (folder names were all messed up). I tried Windows auto "Scan and fix," which recovered most of the photos from May 1-9. We're missing the photos April 25-30. I tried "Recuva" but that didn't unearth any of the missing photos. Unfortunately we can't see if there was any tractor work on the field during those missing days.
