Bouldin Alfalfa: 2023-04-25 14:45:00 (DOY 115)
Author: Daphne Szutu
Others: Robert
Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, alfalfa ready to mow, veg height
2023-04-25 Bouldin Alfalfa Robert and I arrived around 14:45 PDT. It was mostly sunny, warm, and breezy. The alfalfa is tall and lush and ready to be mowed any day now. There were some mustard plants around the tower under the PL Arable—we probably brought the mustard here. Robert and I pulled them and threw them by the ditch. Robert took veg height measurements and cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG and IRT data. There’s no FD chamber here for now until we get ours repaired. Depending on how long that will take, maybe we could move the Bouldin Corn FD chamber here. We should have soil CO2 flux from Charlotte’s chambers at BC. The 7500 read: 422ppm CO2, 194mmol/m3 H2O, 27.4C, 101.1kPa, 99SS after cleaning We left at 15:25 PDT. On the way out, there were freshly shorn sheep grazing the levee by the Hwy 12 underpass and a v cute guardian dog puppy (with its slightly less cute adult). |
