Mayberry
11/5/2010 I arrived about 10am with Jaclyn. It was cool with high clouds and a good breeze from the south west. The water level didn’t look any higher than last week. We left the wooden solar panel base from Twitchell, but didn’t have time to move the panels and batteries to it. The solar system seemed well reporting batteries at 13.1V, 5.5 solar amps and 2.0 load amps. I pounded 3ft 3/8” rebar through each foot of the tower, bent over the last 6” to lie flat, and put the sand bags back on top. All the data seemed okay. The LI7700 had and RSSI of about 50 that improved to about 80 after cleaning the mirrors. The Li7700 was reporting about 2ppm CH4. The DO sensor seemed to be reporting high at about 40mV. But after wiping it and resetting its mount it began to fall slowly. I filled the hole in the box for the instrument cables with silicone and the holes in the solar charger’s box. I need to remember to bring a power plug for the CR10X I swapped the card on the CR1000 and uploaded a new program that fixed the table names to MB_Fast and MB_Slow. I collected the CR10X data on the field netbook. |
