I arrived at about 18:30. It was a quiet evening with a cold breeze and clouds to the west. This was a quick stop to tie up the final loose ends (hopefully) from the advection experiment installation on Monday.

At the Edge Tower I discovered that the upper sonic had not been connected to power. This cable doesn’t have any conductors for the serial data. I also added a new temperature sensor the Licor box. Afterwards the data looked better. I added flagging to the rods marking the tripod feet and replaced a diode in the solar panel that I had removed as an example for buying more diodes. I downloaded the GHG data and found the missing Bouncer data from yesterday.

I wrote down some of the missing serial numbers. The ML3 soil moisture probes don’t seem to have serial numbers on their cables. We will have to make sure we check their serial numbers when they are removed. I’ll add the serial numbers I did get to the Monday notes.

I left at about 19:15 PDT
