Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, autocam was off and only 1 photo--fixed, Stardot only had 1 photo--fixed, Tsonic too high--needs attention next time
2021-12-14 Mayberry Carlos and I arrived at 16:10 PST. It was chilly with a cold breeze. It was sunny with some cumulus clouds in the lower part of the sky. There was an atmospheric river in the past 48 hours that delivered about 50-75 mm (2-3 inches) of rain here. The wetland is mostly brown with some green reeds at the channel edges. The staff gauge read 46.5cm. Carlos cleaned flux and rad sensors and topped off the wash reservoir, which had been about 1/3 empty. I downloaded met and USB GHG data. It's a good thing there are 3 cameras here because we only get data from 1 of the cameras today: there was only 1 photo on the Canon camera (we forgot to check it after messing with the power junction box at the last site visit), there were only 2 photos on the Stardot card (the ethernet cable was loose at the switch), and only the picam had the full set of photos. LI-7500 readings: CO2 416 ppm H2O 320 umol/mol T 8.8C P 100.7kPa SS 100 --> 101 LI7700 readings: CH4 2.0 RSSI 58 --> 77 after cleaning We left at 16:35 PST as the sun was setting and headed back to the lab. I will come back out tomorrow morning to visit Gilbert Tract, our last site. Looking at the data back in the lab, Tsonic is >370 which is higher than its usual range of 350-370. I need to check the sonic analog settings next time. |
