Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, sunset, calibrated 7700, miniDOT was out of batteries

Joe and I arrived at 16:45 PST just as the sun was setting. We were stuck on the Rio Vista bridge for about 15 minutes as they raised the bridge for a big boat to pass through. It smelled like the ocean when we arrived and it was close to low tide. The staff gauge read 144cm (4.73â€™) at 17:00.

We calibrated 7700 sn TG1-0211. The optics RH was 38% with a â€œReplace Desiccantâ€ warning in red. After the calibration, we flushed the headspace with zero air until it read 10% and swapped out the desiccant bottle for one with fresh drierite. The calibration looked good.

I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. We topped off the wash reservoir. Joe cleaned flux and rad sensors. I swapped the desiccant for the miniDOT and water level sensors.

I tried to download the miniDOT data but it seemed to have run out of batteriesâ€”I think this sensor had the â€œslightly usedâ€ lithium batteries and I forgot to put spare batteries in the blue bag. We brought the miniDOT sn 931528 back to the lab. I will put in fresh batteries and Joe will deploy it tomorrow on his way back from Tonzi.
