Summary: Swapped 7500s, open soil co2 profile not powering up, soil co2 cow fence dead.

Tonzi 2021-12-02 I arrived at 10:15 PST. It was clear, sunny and mild with little to no breeze. The Delta had heavy fog and here there was dew on the grass. The ground is still moist but the puddles on the road have dried up. The remaining leaves on the trees are mostly brown and I could hear them falling most of the day. I swapped the 7500s for calibration. At the Tower sn 75H-2514 came off and sn 75H-2180 went on. 2514 read: 437.0ppm CO2, 406.0mmol/m3 H2O, 99.5kPa, 17.7C, 102.7SS 2180 read: 435.5ppm CO2, 405.3mmol/m3 H2O, 99.5kPa, 17.7C, 101.2SS I set the pressure coefficients and reset the box. At the Floor sn 75H-2669 came off and sn 0073 went on – 0073 is fresh from factory refurbishment. 2669 read: 431.6ppm CO2, 438.0mmol/m3 H2O, 99.6kPa, 17.1C, 101.8SS I didn’t copy the new readings from 0073 but I’m sure they were good. I updated the pressure coefficients and reset the box. I measured the Moisture Points, DBH and the wells. I collected the flux, met, FD data and the camera images. The Open soil co2 profile seemed to have a power problem. When I forced the Vaisala probes to power up they were all reporting errors anyway. I’m planning to pull this system out so I left it as is. There are soil heat flux plates and a tipping bucket still on this data logger. I think I’ll migrate these to the OSU SP1 system. I tried to turn on the fence charger at the soil co2 plot but the battery seems dead ~7V. The solar panel cable was broken at the panel – I brought the cable in for repair. The fence at the main tower is powered. I left at about 13:00
