Summary: Check/fixed phenocam file transfer problem, cut alfalfa under the scaffolding.

I arrived at about 9:40 PDT. It was warm and sunny with a nice breeze. The cuttings have not been raked or baled yet and the alfalfa is beginning to grow up through the cuttings. The ditch at the side of the field was about1/3 full of water â€“ more water than I ever remember seeing in it.

Driving past the corn site it looks like our field and surrounding fields may have been planted already.

This was a quick stop to check on the Phenocam which has not been recording photos recently. The blue Ethernet cable between the hub and the CR1000 was unplugged at the hub. I plugged it in and then cut the remaining alfalfa under the tower. I donâ€™t think this alfalfa has been cut since last fall. By the time I finished cutting the alfalfa, two sets of photos had been transferred to the CFM card. All seems well.

I left at about 10:30 for Tonzi
