Summary: LBNL visitors, Standard data collection, 7500 head dead - replaced with Floor head.

Dennis, Siyan and I arrived at 10:30. Jennifer Holm and Sebastian Fiedler, modelers from LBNL, joined us to see the sites they use in their modeling efforts. It was clear, sunny and warm with little to no wind. It is still very dry with no rain in the forecast. Most of the trees here still look good but the wind may have blown most of the dead leaves off leaving the trees looking green.

Dennis did the soil moisture measurements and Siyan measured the well.

The 7500 head was dead â€“ no signal strength, no CO2 or H2O. I collected the data.

We returned around 13:00 with the 7500 head from the Floor Tower sn 75H-2180 and replaced sn 0418 which will probably have to be returned to Licor for repair. After installing the head, uploading the coefficients, setting the pressure coefficients and resetting the box, the CO2 was about 430ppm and H2O was about 250mmol/m3 which agreed with the readings from Tonzi.
