Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, corn patch still present, reinstalled soil sensors under tower
| 2019-10-02 Bouldin Corn Camilo, Ariane, and I arrived at 9:40 PDT. It was a sunny, clear, and breezy day. Our mini corn patch in front of the tower is still present, and we saw that Tyler had moved his chambers north of the corn patch, on tilled soil. It seems all the fields immediately around us have been harvested. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and Purple Air data. The wash reservoir was ½ full; we refilled it. Camilo cleaned rad and flux sensors and measured sonic orientation. We re-installed the three soil sets (thermocouple profile, soil heat flux plate (z=-2cm), Campbell soil moisture sensor (z=-2cm)) and the one Theta soil moisture sensor under the tower. Sonic sn 074417 orientation: Magnetic north 360 degrees, True north 346 degrees. LI-7500 readings: CO2 423ppm H2O 470ppm T 16.6C P 101.2kPa SS 96--> 102 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.1ppm RSSI 29-->86 after cleaning We left at 10:15 PDT. |
